The thought of not so fly white boyz with flat tops and bad sneers infesting the trails is bad enough, but it's not the Vanilla that's making the Welsh trails treacherous right now, it's the Ice.
Most of them are free from serious snow drifts (although more snow is forecast this week), but the packed polished snow is creating white ice to add to the thin black ice sections where it's melted and the ice ice sections where it's thawed and then re melted. With ice tending to put you down very hard and very fast, we suggest you don't take too many liberties or risks with it when riding.
If you do hit a patch, don't brake or steer more than the absolute minimum, and just and stay relaxed and roll in as straight as possible a line to the next grippy section.
