Marin Rough Ride dates announced
June 13th 2010 is the date for the UK's maximum singletrack event so get your entries in now.
The Marin Rough Ride is an absolute classic for 'real riders' not just racers as the organisers are super experienced right of way campaigners who manage to get a whole load of sweet singletrack opened up that you'd never be allowed to ride any other time. With 80% of the longer 75km route on singletrack, mostly across wild moorland and 7000ft of climbing and descending it's a properly epic ride. Add a laid back 'as competitive as you want to make it' atmosphere with random spot prizes as well as timing chips for the racers there really is something for everyone. All the action centres around the excellent real ale pubs of Kington too so it's no wonder it's established itself as a must do event on the Welsh calendar.
