After a wait of 2 years SISTERS OF SEND, Wales’ first women’s MTB event, will take place in Afan Valley in May 2022.
Originally scheduled for 2020, along with many other events the global pandemic forced a postponement. The re-scheduled festival will take place 14 – 15 May 2022 and aims to inspire and nurture sisterhood in MTB while having a good time riding bikes, making friends, and participating in some brilliant events.
The weekend will include taster sessions run by industry recognised coaches, private use of the Afan Bike Park featuring progressive jumps, drops and sweeping berms and a supervised airbag for practising jump techniques.
The Event Village will be home to bike brands and local businesses who will be showcasing their wares. Brands so far confirmed include Marin Bikes, Crankbrothers, Schwalbe, ION and Fenwicks.
