Are You Ready To Send It In 2020 at Wales’ First Women’s MTB Festival?
The Sisters of Send collective is excited to announce the launch of Wales’ first women’s MTB festival, the Sisters of Send Weekend 2020. Taking place in the heart of the Afan Valley, this two-day festival is designed to help inspire and nurture sisterhood in MTB while having a bloody good time riding bikes, making friends and taking part in some brilliant events for riders of all abilities.
There will be coaching and guiding sessions running throughout the weekend with private use of the legendary Afan bike park, a bespoke skills area, an air bag for hurling yourself into, an epic 4X track and even the private use of some of the local singletrack.
In addition to this, brands such as crankbrothers, Ergon, Juliana, Trek, Marin, Fenwicks, Smith and ION will be showcasing their wares in the Event Village. These brands will be joined by local businesses and non-profits like Trash Free Trails and the Afan Valley Trail Volunteers.

There have never been so many women shredding the trails, and Sisters of Send want to help keep that momentum going by hosting riding events that will inspire, encourage and nurture the women’s mountain bike movement. It’s not about being the fittest, fastest or most stylish. It’s about being outdoors on bikes, meeting like-minded people and having fun.
