Another hidden gem on the Dolgellau drive through route, the forgotten forests, reservoirs and moors of the Mynydd Hiraethog area are perfect for those who like some solitude with their singletrack.
Mynydd Hiraethog is located in the north east of Wales, only a short drive from Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. The trails will suit all abilities from family jaunts to epics over 80kms. The Ride North Wales website also provides trail profiles and pioneering 3D flythroughs to allow you to make sure the trail you choose meets all your expectations.

Getting Here
From Manchester, Liverpool and the North West
The A55 brings you along the North Wales coast from Chester (linking from the M56, M6 and M53). Leave the A55 at junction 27A, then travel to the Hiraethog and Denbigh Moors region on the A525 via Denbigh.
From Birmingham, the Midlands and South Wales
Travel to the south of Hiraethog on the A5 via Shrewsbury, Llangollen and Corwen.
The nearest railway station is Betws y Coed.
