Starting at Cwmdauddwr car park, this route leads you over two valleys. Beginning with the Wye Valley, you’ll follow the river until you reach Nannerth-fawr. From here you climb up left to the shoulder and traverse under Moelfryn to the connecting Elan Valley. The climb is long and sustained. From the open moorland you cross the mountain road and down a sweet singletrack that leads you all the way down Craig Goch Dam and reservoir. Follow the cycle path down the valley before sharply heading up left above Penygarreg Dam. Once on the top you are rewarded with breath taking views of the Wye Valley and Black mountains. From here you descend down Treheslog and cross the mountain road once again to finish on the jaw dropping golf links descent for a well-earned finish in Cwmdauddwr.
