Starting at Clive Powell’s bike shop, head out on the old Aberystwyth mountain road for roughly 1km before turning left over a road bridge that crosses the stream of Nant Gwynllyn. Find your own adventure in the ancient woods of oak and keep an eye on the trail for not so tiny ants! A short section of ‘B’ road takes you cross-country to link up with the Wye Valley. Rolling through scenic Mid Wales lanes you can enjoy a downhill finish back to Cwmdauddwr and Rhayader.
